From winter to spring

Jeez, we almost missed three months. It is getting so hard to catch these boys for pictures that we are having to use pics that already exist. Here is our young fisherman with a not-so-new fishing picture that is being highlighted at our favorite downtown fishing store called the Great Blue Heron Outdoors.

This is clearly an existing picture, one that Carson chose as his social media profile pic. Dad thinks it is cool that he is claiming to be an entrepreneur. It is Dad's work as a student entrepreneur that got him his first job. The boys are rounding the corner to the end of their college careers, so their parents are anxious to learn of gainful employment opportunities.

More social media pics! Fun to see Conner's name on the Eagle Scout plaque that his troop promoted through this social media post. One of the few high school things that people are encouraged to keep on their resume after their school days are complete.

A rare date night for the parentals. And a very unique sequence of events: we attended a fancy fundraiser for our local library, then went to a college dive bar to hear our friends' son play in the bar band.

Holy cow, our neighborhood is torn up. There is a big, huge watershed project going on that has the city replacing some 100+ year old pipes. We have had trouble getting in and out of our streets for almost a year. We think the end is in site, as they level the streets to repave them.

The cats want to say a quick hello, and remind everyone that while they are also not super excited about getting their picture taken, they will at least tolerate it on occasion so that blog entries do not take more than a one or two month hiatus. Happy spring everyone!
