Saying g'bye to winter

We started the last entry with a picture of the new stairway and promised another of the railing.  Well, it isn't quite done, but here is the work in progress.  It's going to be awesome, but all good things take time...

This young man survived deviated septum surgery this month.  He got hit with a baseball when he was not too much older than the picture on the right.  The surgery should help him breathe better and clear up the sinuses.

We think they bandaged him up as if he was an extra in an old war movie.  Thankfully, there were some unseasonably warm February days that allowed him to recover outside in the sunshine.

We have skipped several KU b-ball games this season because they felt a little like super spreader events.  But they got serious about mask mandates, so here is one that Carson and Dad attended sitting right behind our friends Bill and Rachel.  Dad only took off the mask for the picture, promise.

Darby Bates still spends time with the Marsh fam on Wednesdays.  Here are two guys who have had a special connection since the early days.

Uncle Ted brought us a new mattress that needed some maintenance.  Mummy was able to skillfully fix it, with "help" from Smink.

Thneed did not want to be left out, so she let Daddy get photographic evidence of a rare occurence.  We are very excited to be welcoming spring to the Midwest, and sincerely hoping that Covid is subsiding for good this time.
