Makin it through the winter

Cousin Jeff shared a picture with us of "helicopter," which has been passed down to him from the days when Conner and Carson were a little easier to pick up.

We've had plenty of cold weather this month, including a couple of snow days.  The boys continue to do good work shoveling snow in our neighborhood.  A lucrative practice that keeps them at the top of the list when neighbors have lawn service needs!

Remember this picture?  This is one of KU's less beautiful campus sculptures, but after a big snowfall it becomes a waffle iron!

Yes, this one is left over from Christmas.  But Mema and Grandpa shared it with us and we thought it was definitely blogworthy.  Two handsome dudes.

Hah!  Did you think we were going to miss even one month of talking about fishing?  Conner got a cool Christmas present that allows him to display his favorite rods.  This is not even half his collection, by the way.

Some of the players from Carson's St. John b-ball team have been getting together during the cold months for some indoor hoops.  It has been a fun way to get some exercise in.  They even let some of the Dad's play!
