Outdoor fun before winter's chill

Hiya!  Happy early holiday season.  As this entry gets posted, there are two or three inches of fresh snow on the ground, but this post will highlight some fun fall activities outdoors.

Both of the first two pics are from the Kaw River area.  A favorite spot for the CNMs! There is a sandy beach-like shoreline that the boys love to explore, and some really top-notch biking trails. Daddy is starting to have a hard time keeping up!

Here is an outdoor picture in front of a couch.  That's not wierd, right? This was the beginning of a fantastic "boy day" out at Uncle Ted's house in Wellsville.

The boy day included some fabulous four-wheelin and both boys got to try their hand at steering.  With a daddy or uncle in the back seat, with total confidence in the boys' abilities...  :-o

It was a great day.  There was also trampolining, cool video games and a very, very rare viewing of a PG 13 movie to cap off the fun sleepover.

It is also early KU b-ball season, which means some fun days at Allen Fieldhouse.  Conner actually went to a game at the Sprint Center in KC.  More on that later.

Each year in early December, the KU Bookstore has a staff apprreciation party that the whole Marsh family enjoys.  Good food, good holiday shopping, and sometimes a hug from Big Jay.

Both boys are still puzzle masters.  This table in our old TV room is always laden with a new puzzle waiting to be conquered.  Two things of note for this pic:  1) yes, that is a Monet, and 2) it came in a plastic bottle.  That is not wine on the puzzle table!!

That's all for now!  Surely we'll provide snow-filled pictures of the holidays for our next post.  We'll leave you with a really cool picture of Conner experiencing the KC Plaza Lights for the very first time (after the Sprint Center game).  And it was from our friend Michael Beers' 17th floor apartment balcony!!  Happy Holidays everyone.
