Happy Holidays!

"Santa, I would like to have a metal detector and ten rolls of tape."

Remember when the boys asked Santa for snow shovels? They have put them to very good use and endeared themselves to every one of our neighbors. Now they up the ante and ask for metal detectors so they can find nails in the alley! And Carson wants ten rolls of tape because Mummy and Daddy keep complaining that he's using too much for his art projects.

Funky hair day at school! How they came up with the crimson and blue combo, we don't know... Both CNMs are doing better at school. Much like last year with Conner, we feel like Carson is starting to understand expectations in the classroom and is not misbehaving quite as much. Mummy has been volunteering at school each week, which the boys love!

We have a cub scout! Daddy is getting a kick out of helping Conner get his activity beads, bobcat and tiger patches, pinewood derby...a few things have changed, but so much is the same!

Carson was feeling left out, having no lip injury blog pictures. So now he has one! And he may have one-upped Conner because this one seems to have included a tooth injury as well. His teeth are so squeezed into his little mouth that our dentist has warned us to "save up." Not a single loose tooth yet!

The boys are reading better every day. Carson is leading the school for kindergarteners, and Conner is catching up to his 1st grade classmates. His math skills are exceptional, reading is about average. Daddy loves reading Dr. Suess to them any time they ask. Our whole family hopes you have a fabulous holiday season. Let us know if you need any lost metal objects found!
