Happy Holidays 2018

Merry Christmas, everyone!  And since we are posting this on the last day of the month, Happy New Year's Eve!

It was a good Christmas for the CNMs.  They are definitely in that stage of life where it feels like they are no longer our little boys.  Here are the young men at Mema and Grandpa's house for Christmas Eve.

Earlier this month, Mummy and Daddy has their 20th "first date" anniversary.  We dated for a year, and were engaged for just over a year.  So we have LOTS of time before our 20th wedding anniversary.  :-)

Ok, back to Christmas.  Even though these two are quickly becoming young men, they still love a good Christmas morning.  Tore into their stockings and presents with glee.

Yes, it looks like Conner is dabbing, but really he is just showing us that his fishing bucket/seat works just fine.  We'll get back to fishing in just a moment.

Carson got a tripod for his bike so he can do some riding even during the coldest of winter days.

We have had some unseasonably warm December days, one of which allowed us to explore our friend Michael Beers' property outside of town.

With three fish ponds!  It instantly became Conner's favorite place to fish.  Might have something to do with the fact that he doesn't have to share...

And even though it was only a semi-warm December day, he was successful in reeling in a few good sized bass.  He is wearing his Grandpa's army jacket that we introduced in the last entry.

The property has some interesting history and several cool structures to explore, so Carson had plenty to do while his bro focused on fishing.

For a couple years, Carson has offered custom paintings to his grandparents for Christmas.  He is a pretty skilled artist, and offered this beauty to Jill and Ronan, our friends who live in Chicago.

Well, happy holidays from our house to yours.  We hope you had time with friends, family and felines!
