A very quiet Thanksgiving

Senior photos for both boys, courtesy of the wonderful photographer Jeff Burkhead.  We have several great shots of both boys, and should share more of them in upcoming entries, since it is getting harder to catch them for photos these days!

This is not evidence of an accident, it is evidence of a project the boys took on during the Thanksgiving holiday.  Conner agreed to help Carson replace his alternator, and it proved to be a large task.  He did it, and it gave the car new life!  For a couple days at least.

Thanksgiving dinner was an unexpectedly quiet affair this year.  Dad came home from a business trip with Covid and gave it to Mom.  Drat!  We had done so well the last two and a half years without falling victim...

It was so great to have Conner home for the week. He got invited to one of his lawncare customer's homes for thanksgiving, so that gave him some holiday excitement that we couldn't offer.  Here he is helping to Christmas up the house.

Carson said a final goodbye to Cross Country.  We hold out hope that he will have a senior track and field season.  He has been working after school as a teller at a downtown bank.  His hours will be limited once track season starts, so we'll see!
