Fishing, swimming, summering

Little Russian hats for the little Russians!  The Marsh family is summering it up, trying to keep the CNMs occupied so they don't go stir crazy at home.  Here are some of our activities:

Carson finished up outdoor soccer season with a winning season and a pizza party.  Only missing a few teammates, but no shortage of big smiles!

Lots of fishing.  Here is Conner with a prize winning blue gill.  This was during Memorial Day weekend at Aunt Heather's lake house.

Neither picture really does the fishermen justice.  These were honkin big blue gill!!  The water was very, very high this year.  More on that later...

Just chillin at the pool.  We are so lucky to have Lawrence's primary outdoor pool just a block from our house.  We think the boys aren't far away from being able to head down there by themselves for the afternoon.

It could well be the wettest May/June in history for northeast KS.  It rained 27 days in May alone!  Here we are checking out the Kansas River which is usually running pretty calmly with a sizeable sandbar in the middle.

School ended well for the CNMs.  Here is the front page of the yearbook, highlighting Conner in the picture 2nd from the top on the left, and Carson 2nd from the bottom on the right.

The public library did something fun a few weeks ago.  They brought in service dogs and had boys and girls read to them!  Conner is reading to Stella, a one-year old black lab.

They just didn't have inflatables like this when Mummy and Daddy were kids!  Conner is flying down a two-story slide during the end of year party at St John's school.  He is officially a middle schooler!!!

A little cousin time at the dinner table.  Conner can't stop munching for a picture with Faith and Branden.

Rock Chalk!  There is always some time for a campus visit over the summer too.  We wish you lots of summer happiness and will surely have some fun Harvey's Lake pics for next month!
