Two tin grins

Conner has joined Carson with braces!  Our local orthodontist can be seen driving a shiny new BMW around town with the license plate: THXMARSHES.

Check it out!  The Ted Marsh family got a new member, and she came to visit.  Carson is snuggling with Sadie, the new Basenji.  She is super cute, and a pretty unique breed.

Conner is over the moon that the weather is finally right for fishing.  Look a those two monsters!  He has not slowed a single step in his love for this sport.  He watches the shows, he reads the books, he can identify a fish type by sight.  The fish whisperer...

And Carson is still loving the race.  Here he is celebrating his 100th mile at the school's marathon club.  This is the first year he has not been the first in the school to reach this milestone.  This time he was second...

The boys are going to go to Camp Birchwood again this summer.  Both of them acquired their own tents this year and Carson choose to assemble his in the bed room for a couple days.

Conner survived his FIRST EVER serious illness.  You think we're joking, but as far as we know, this month he "lost his lunch" for the first time in his 14 years.  He was such a trooper that the only way we really knew something was wrong was when he told us he didn't feel like fishing over the weekend!

Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold.  It's true, right?  Our next door neighbor Keith is a very, very serious bicyclist, and chose to donate his bike to Carson when he got a new one.  Carson loves it, and has biked twice a day since he received it.  Even listened intently when leaning how to change out an innertube.
