This holidays approach

Beautiful foliage this year in the 'hood and throughout town.  This is one of many gorgeous maples on our block.  It has been a mild fall, with lots of outside activity.

In the last entry, we included a picture of the demolition of our front steps.  Here is one of the progress. Full disclosure: it is done with the exception of the railings.  We just haven't gotten a great pic of the finished product yet.

Still enjoying an occasional throw of the football on Ohio Street.  If you want a funny story, ask us how this picture stirred up some heat on Facebook because of the Old West Lawrence traffic calming experiment.

Not the world's best pic of the 2021 Thanksgiving Day 5k.  But it will have to do for now.  We've been promised some better ones.  It was a chilly race.  Carson came in 26th out of almost 1,000 runners.

A quick shot of two CNMs at Allen Fieldhouse for a bball game on Dad's birthday.  This year, KU Info Superstar alum Bill Walberg and his friend Rachel have seats right in front of us.

Conner Marsh is officially an Eagle Scout!  Hard work, perseverance and a little push from his folks.  He is done!  This picture was taken after his Board of Review.  The only thing left is the Court of Honor which we will document in the December blog, promise.

The cross country season ended and the varsity got to do their annual Nike race in South Dakota.  Mom went up with other parents while Dad helped with the Vets Day 5k in Lawrence.

As promised, another cool pic from Conner's senior photo session.  We are weeks away from the end of his last Fall semester, yikes!  Looking forward to Christmas, and wishing everyone holiday happiness.
