Wedding anniversary and prom

Mom and Dad celebrated our anniversary this month, along with a week of having both boys home during Conner's spring break.  How wonderful to be welcoming spring weather!

Carson and Ellie went to high school prom together and got high marks for their KU blue and black matching attire.  

It feels like Carson spends more time in this room than at home these days.  This is a small gym in East Lawrence that he helps keep in order, and in exchange gets full access to the equipment any time.

Because he is a hard worker and a shrewd investor, Carson was able to upgrade to this 2012 BMW.  He is very proud of it.  Helps that he is working part time as a teller at a local bank, which gave him a loan without his parents having to co-sign!

We were sad to see this little guy go.  Carson learned how NOT to treat a vehicle with this car.  He burnt out the clutch and it was going to cost more to fix than it was worth.  So we donated it to the local technical college.

Another prom pic.  This one was at Ellie's home.  Three of the five boys played soccer together in elementary school!

Thneed and Smink are still ruling the roost. They were very happy to have Conner home for a week, although they aren't happy that we got no pics of Conner while he was home.  He has decided to return for the summer, so we'll have pics of him then!
