One freshman, one senior

Ohmygosh, this was huge.  We sent Conner off to college.  Four hours away in Rolla, MO.  It is a great school, and he is in great hands.  His parents just aren't sure they are ready to let go yet...

We were so impressed with the way Conner's school helped acclimate new students to campus.  Here he is with a racing design competition during their first week.  Fourth young collegian from the left.

One freshman, one senior.  Carson began school last week and began cross country practice the same week.  We should have some race pics and maybe some senior portraits for the next blog entry.

There he is, walking away from the house for the beginning of his senior year.  Mom and Dad aren't sure how to process the fact that one has just left for college and the other will most likely be doing so in 12 short months!

Not the world's best pic, but we wanted to show that Conner did actually get a dorm room with all the necessary trimmings.  Small room with one roommate and a bathroom shared by many--but keep in mind, that means the bathrooms are cleaned for them!

 Almost ten years ago, Carson got to try out a new gym called the Summit.  Who woulda known, it became the gym that he opened every morning at 5am before school?  It is sadly closing this week, and he has become very attached to it.  We'll hope something presents itself as a good replacement.
