The world turns upside down

As promised in last month’s entry, here are some pics from beautiful Marco Island.  Carson and Daddy went to visit Grandma over Spring Break, and then a virus shut down the whole world...

We had a wonderful time.  Conner was recovering from wisdom teeth extraction, but things turned out ok for him (more on that later).  One of our fun activities was paddleboarding on Tiger Tail beach, courtesy of Mr. Tiger Tail himself, Tony.

Wonderful Tom C. invited us to lunch and we had dessert at his fancy apartment.  He has been so wonderful to four generations of the Marsh family!

one of the favorite activities during a week at Marco is the farmers market.  This particular tent was filled with fruits that none of us could identify!  Daddy asked what everything was and chose a yellow dragonfruit.  Delicious, but expensive!

Every sunset was witnessed from Sand Dollar Island.  Not really an island, but a sandbar just 20 or 30 feet from shore.  So fabulous to walk out of Sunset House right on to this beach!

We also visited with Karen and Tom Gibbs, who are yearlong residents having moved from Lawrence.  When Daddy and Carson returned, school was cancelled, work was cancelled, and all social interaction was cancelled.  That will be the subject of the next entry!
