Conner's g'bye to middle school
Oh, geez. Do we seriously have a high school student? I know every family goes through this, but HOW DID THAT HAPPEN SO FAST??? Conner is front and center in the above picture of his 8th grade class.
Great picture of him above, and we are not surprised he refused to do the James Bond pose. Unfortunately, several of his classmates did not understand where the pretend guns were supposed to be pointed...
Not to brag, but he looks very studly in this picture. Almost like a Teen GQ shot, right? Just to the right is his fishing buddy Preston, and on the far right is our across the street neighbor Ben.
Now, Carson is giving us one more year at St. John before we have to say a final goodbye to the school. As mentioned in last month's entry, he has really taken to riding since he inherited our neighbor's bike. And his Lawrence Bike Club shirt. He rode 20 miles this morning even after being stung by a bee!
So, school is out, summer is in. We expect lots of fishing for Conner, lots of biking for Carson and lots of lawn service customers for both boys. Perhaps this picture was a prophecy. They have lots of paying customers, and might even help with their own yard if we beg...
