Kitties, cars and home improvement
Fall is in full effect! Our dear friends Ernie and Trisha have two cats that love playing with the CNMs. Above, Carson is showing us how much Roscoe loves being carried around in his wicker basket. Rudy is in the background patiently waiting his turn.
Blue lips! Daddy was the only one who didn't partake in the blue cotton candy at this KU tailgating tent. It made Mummy channel some of her goth days back in the 90s...
The boys love tailgating, don't so much love watching the actual games. You may have seen from our last post that Conner suffered a tailgating injury. Well, as you can see by the above picture, he has healed both physically and mentally, and we still visit the site of the crash before each game.
Car show!! Uncle Ted encouraged us to go with him to this awesome event. Daddy forced the boys to pose in front of many Thunderbirds. They were particularly intrigued by the car that "folded in half" so you could see the insides really well. They are pictured below peeking in.
One of the coolest things we did at the show was spend some time with military personell and their transportation. In the above picture, a soldier helped the boys and their cousin Alex work the crane remotely to pick up and move a folding chair.
It feels like the boys grow out of clothes overnight. We are trying to collect cold weather clothes because nothing from last year seems to fit. They we willing to pose with some of their new duds, and we're wondering if they have a future in clothes modeling. :-)
As the boys grow, our house somehow shrinks. Yep, you guessed it. We're considering building an addition. Very soon it will no longer be comfortable for all four of us to share an upstairs bath. And the play area is way to small for the boys to bring their friends over. So, we bite the bullet and start plans for a big home improvement project! Wish us luck...
