Spring has officially sprung

Happy spring from the Marsh clan. We finally feel like spring is truly here. Lots of ups and downs in the weather department, keeping us indoors more than we'd like. But we've had a fun April, so here's what's up:

Mummy and the boys had a blast dying Easter eggs for the first time. Notice the high-fashion smocks the boys are wearing, made from Grandpa's old button downs. It was kind of funny to see them find their first "real" eggs and squeeze them too hard, thinking they were plastic. Quite the surprise when the shell broke!

The boys just don't make it into our local paper enough. Here they are, riding their bikes on the city b-ball court. Here is the link to the newspaper page. They are learning to ride without training wheels, and without pedals. Just about time to put the pedals back on and see how they do.

Birthday party at Monkey Business in Olathe! Oh, man that was a fun place. A huge room filled with inflatables and climbables. All three CNMs slept well that night. The boys are on the far right, and our beloved Kras Connection is just left of center. It was Chris Parrack's b-day.

Here we are after the party. We needed a current picture of the fam for our final post-placement report. Can you imagine, they want us to report on the boys' well-being three years after the adoption? We're proud to report, they are doing fine.

Speaking of adoption, this is probably the last time we'll post an update to the international adoption stats chart. It has been interesting to see how the numbers have changed since 2005, when we started the process. You can see that the downward slide continues for all except Korea, although Russia's numbers decreased less than the other top three.

Since we opened the March entry with the cool Magformer toys, let's end the April one with them. These toys are so cool that we continue to add to the collection. The boys astound us with their ability to put geometric shapes together and make up new ones that are maybe less geometric. Conner went to kindergarten round up this morning, so our sweet little babies are starting to grow up. Slow down, boys!!
