My, how they've grown
We are closing in on the 1.5 year anniversary of being home. Thought it would be fun to compare some pictures. Below is one that was taken our very first day. Wow, they look like infants!
Compare that photo to the ones below, and it is hard to believe it's only been 17 months. The first one shows the boys sporting their new wool socks, lovingly knitted by Deborah, our next door neighbor. They absolutely love them, and get to wear them every time they go outside in their snow boots.
Folks have been asking us how the boys get along together. There are certainly times when they both want the same toy, or one chooses to tattle on the other. But these little guys are best friends. Our challenges with them stem most frequently from BOTH of them being naughty together. You may find that hard to believe, as we continue to post pictures like the one below...
The boys go with their Mummy every Tuesday morning to Reading Time at the public library. Last week, they brought home the Frog and Toad books, which brought back childhood memories for both their parents. Conner is doing his best interpretation of Frog in the picture below. He and Carson are sporting their Doggy and Froggy towels that Aunt Cheryl and Unlce David got for them. They don the towels and march up the stairs for bathtime every night.
We hope, as Valentine's Day approaches, your homes are filled with love and happiness. We'll close this entry with a little Russian blessing that basically means "to your health"-- Nazdrovia!
