Eagles and Formals
Wow, what a month for the CNMs. Conner is pictured here with the extended family at the commencement of his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. More on that later in the entry.
Carson attended Winter Formal with a friend from his cross country team. All dressed up and grinning for his Mom the photographer!
This is a picture taken by the same fellow who helped with Conner's senior photos. He was taking pictures of the memorial service for a dear neighbor who passed.
Here is the newly minted Eagle Scout with his Scout Master, Matt Cupps. Matt and several other adult troop leaders have been so great to Conner over the years. Matt even helped lead Conner's cub scout group!
Other than the three of us feeling like we were being watched the entire time, Conner's ceremony went so well. The leaders all got up and said how great Conner was, which made his parents so proud.
With Grandpa looking on, Conner lit the Eagle Candle signifying the end of his journey. Among many other special moments, it was very touching when Conner offered his Mentor Pin to his grandfather for all his help during the Eagle project and other scouting activities.
Is it a sign of the times that we didn't get any good Christmas pics? Both boys got some fabulous gifts, thanks to SantaMom, and we got this very cool puzzle that has actually taken more than an hour to complete!
All the kittens really want is access to the empty boxes. They hope you all have a wonderful holiday and a safe, healthy, less pandemicy 2022! For the record: this entry includes an unprecedented four pictures of Mommy!!!
