Summer in full swing
Fishing, running, scouting, lifeguarding...the boys have done a little bit of everything during the first full month of summer. This guy is hoping to finish most of his Eagle Scout requirements before the summer's end.
Behold, the majestic Catalpa. In late May or early June, this tree bursts forth with a million orchid-like blooms. They don’t last long, but they are so cool while we’ve got them!
Lawrence's newest lifeguard. The city pool is one short block from our house. Both boys are still doing lots of lawn care for neighbors. Conner is also employed by a small publishing company and Carson is working a bit for a local gym. Busy fellas!
We spent Memorial Day at Aunt Heather’s lake. It was chilly, which was just fine with Dad. Nice big campfire to end a fun day.
Ok, this is a rather random pic to include in the blog. Two reasons: 1) it shows that we have taken out the huge pine tree in our side yard. Big gaping hole in the backyard skyline. 2) we needed a landscape format pic in between all the portrait format pics. Blog entry aesthetics...
Conner is sporting some July 4th trunks which is an unintentional nod to the upcoming Harvey‘s Lake trip. Very excited to see the extended family after two years!
Look, a highly rare picture of Mummy! There is no other necessary explanation. Not enough pictures of Mummy in this blog, for real.
