Summer fun and Road Scholar
Happy June, everybody! The first month of summer break has gone quickly. We enjoyed a movie in the football stadium one fine early evening...
During our latest trip to Aunt Heather's lake, Carson made his first attempt at a back dive. His form was infinitely better than his father's.
KU does occasional summer events that include big huge inflatables. Even though Conner will be a teenager in a couple months, he does not seem ready to give up jumping around in these cool things.
Lots of fishing! Which gave this fella some serious anticipation towards his Road Scholar with Grandma. They went to Sarasota Florida for a marine biology adventure!
Learned about sea turtles, alligators, whales, migration, ocean currents, you name it! You might guess what was his favorite part...
Fishing! The majority of his catches were Lady Fish, pictured here with one of his Road Scholar buddies.
Displaying much courage here with an albino anaconda. Yikes!!
Here he is, working on his juggling skills. You may ask what juggling has to do with marine biology. You may if you wish.
Super duper Grandma. Up for any adventure. Several of her grandchildren are starting to age out of the Road Scholar program, including the CNMs. We will definitely have to find a suitable alternative, because these trips have been really incredible!!
