Happy birthday, Mummy!

 

Whew, we barely slipped in an entry before May expired.  But that means we get to call it our birthday celebration entry!  Mummy turns 29 today and we love her so much!

 

 

Here is the last picture of the '15-'16 school year.  Poof! Gone.  Conner and Carson are towards the back row, and Carson is sporting his medal for being the only student in the whole school that ran over 100 miles in marathon club.

The consumate fisher.  Here is Conner showing his trophy to Grandma.  He fished the creek behind her house AND the creek behind Mema and Grandpa's house in the same weekend.

For Mummy's birthday, the boys visited Lawrence's famous candle shop, Waxman's.  Here is the Wax Man himself, showing them how to personally dip a column candle for their Mummy.

It is definitely tree climbing weather.  We've gotten an amazing amount of rain the last week or so, which makes everything beautifully green.  But it also makes the river very high.  Proof offered below:

Can you spot the young explorer in the picture above?  Both boys still love checking out all the excitement at the river, whether it is bursting at the seems or rather low.

Another Lawrence parade!  The batmobile showed up at this one, and Daddy is still trying to wrangle a ride in it someday...

So, the summer officially begins, and we may see a few more unchapperoned trips to the fishing pond or the swimming pool since both boys are now officially middle-schoolers and one will be a (gulp) teenager this fall!!
