Halloween and the Kras Bonfire
Last year, Carson got super sick on the day of Halloween and missed out. Conner went as a mounted fish. This year Mummy made a squid costume for him. Glad it worked out, since he really committed to it by telling the local paper that's what he was going to be!
Here is squid-boy with jellyfish girl (Iris, a friend from Pinckney days). We didn't know she was going to be a jellyfish, and it was a hoot running in to her in the neighborhood!
Here is Carson the ninja. No illness kept him from suiting up this year, thank goodness. Although it was only a few days after he had three baby teeth pulled! No chewy caramel for you, ninja!
Every fall, we head south of KC to property owned by our friends the Parrack's. They have a bonfire that is very well attended, but we are usually the only ones who camp overnight with them. Fun!
The boys get to hang out and enjoy the outdoors together. It has a small pond with some BIG fish. This wasn't the biggest Conner pulled out, but it was a good looking little guy.
Yup. Puzzle masters. This one was the largest 2D one we've tackled. 1,500 pieces given to us by Aunt Linda. It is of a very nice little beachfront community and makes us pine for Marco Island!
Conner in a tree! Not just any tree, it is the big old tree in front of Mema and Grandpa's house.
And here is our little runner. This one is out of order bigtime, but thought it was blog-worthy. It was the LV 5K he ran on his birthday. We still owe you b-day pictures, but neither boy has had a party yet! We'll have to sandwich them in between holiday pictures...
