Snow forts, snow hearts, ...
Snow!! About a foot in one day. Very, very happy boys. Conner is the king of snow forts, and can't seem to get enough of them. That is his backside in the picture above.
The boys both still seem to love shoveling and get out to take care of sidewalks all around our neighborhood when they can. The snow had just started to fall when Carson chose to leave his Mummy a Valentines message in the driveway.
A picture of all the cousins on Daddy's side of the family. Kyliegh, Faith, Alex, CNM, CNM, Brandon and Casey. Quite a houseful!
There were no fewer than three large snow forts constructed by these two. Here is a cool local news story that included some sledding video of the boys and some friends.
And here is another local news story that was done about a local foundation that helped us with the adoption. It was fun that they asked us to do a "then and now" story.
Conner the scientist! He and Mummy took home some nice hardware from the St John's science fair this month. He had an interactive display explaining the Ice Age Death Trap (pretty sinister...)
And here he is helping three young ladies understand the concept behind the science...
Carson didn't have an entry in the fair, but he found his shadow on the wall, which seems to be the only thing that can outrun him these days. He got his braces off this month and is very happy to have a metal-free mouth once again.
Back to the snow! The boys got fancy new sleds for Christmas and gave them a workout this month. Here is Conner sledding down Grandma's back porch steps.
And here they are at a new Ramen Noodle restaurant (gotta love Lawrence) after a very strong sledding morning on the hills of KU's campus. Snow + CNMs = Happiness.
