March excitement
Hi there! What a super spring it has been. We continue to celebrate a very mild winter which kept our cabin fever at bay. Now spring is in full swing and you know what that means...
Not just outdoor weather but basketball fever in Lawrence. During the Final Four, Daddy took the boys to campus and got some fun pictures. It was close to 90 degrees, so the Chi Omega fountain was a popular spot.
The boys put so much good charma into campus this day that it led to the Jayhawks making it to the final game. We talked a lot about the last championship game which they vaguely remember.
We took a timeout from the b-ball activities to celebrate Grandma Marsh's birthday. This is a pic of all the grandkids together. As of this year, the boys are outnumbered!!
Conner and Carson really enjoyed indoor soccer season. Mummy and Daddy reluctantly served as coaches for Carson's team and ended up really enjoying the experience and the team! The boys have told us they want to keep playing both soccer and basketball. Awesome!
Our annual St Patty's Day parade adventure! Once again, the Sandbar folks let us help with their float (mostly clean up) and as a reward the boys and Daddy got to ride in the parade.
Here they are with the crew. So much fun to be a part of the process from the beginning when the float was just a skeleton. These salty dogs were very kind to the boys and we feel like a part of the Sandbar family. (dangerous?)
The day of the parade, and the boys were only pretending to be at each other's throats. They loved being on the ship and dancing with the crowd. Did we make the paper? Well, yeah. Check it out.
