Enjoying the springtime

Look at Alladin and Jasmine! What a lovely pair. April has flown by as if by magic carpet. Hope yours has been wonderful. Ours has been filled with Easter activities and prep work for the addition project.



The hole in the back yard continues to grow. Not because we need it to be deep, but because the boys can not stop digging! Here they are with Max Bates looking for treasures.



And here is Carson with Max's baby brother Darby. He and Mummy watched Darby for an afternoon and Carson really did a great job with him. Maybe he enjoys playing older brother!



Yes, these two could be brother/sister. But Mia is a friend from school. She and Carson have had several play dates together. Here they are doing Carson's favorite activity: eating.



Conner finished his first year of scouts. His pack got to "cross over" from Tigers to Wolves. Fun little ceremony where they physically crossed over this little bridge and traded in their orange neckerchiefs for yellow ones.



A very serious Tiger scout. Younger siblings were invited to most of the events, so Carson is very well prepared to join his big brother in the fall.



Dying Easter eggs on the back porch! We bid a fond farewell to the porch this weekend. It's got to go to make room for the addition. Daddy took out a 50 ft tree yesterday with the boys' supervision and valuable assistance from our neighbor Terry. We will really miss this good old porch!



The boys cleaned up on Easter goodies. So much so that they got Easter buckets instead of baskets! We had a nice time celebrating with both sides of the family. Happy Easter to you too, and we hope you enjoy the awesome springtime!
