Glasses for Christmas?

Happy holidays, everyone! Who is this grown up, professorial young man with Santa?! Yup, it's Conner with his new glasses. He picked them out himself, and really seems to like them. They stay safely in their case when he's not wearing them, and he's super careful when handling them. He likes showing them off, and (biased opinion) looks pretty darn good in them!



It has been well below freezing lately, and we've been doing some serious sledding down the hill in our neighborhood. But rewind a couple weeks, and we got introduced to trail riding! Our neighbors, Ernie and Trisha, are serious trail riders, and took the three CNMs to the awesome trails in North Lawrence. The boys were fantastic!

Above, Carson is sporting his Spiderman bike at the exact spot where he went over his handlebars at the bottom of a big hill. The ride before this one, we boldly went on almost the entire trail which resulted in about a seven mile ride. Mummy had three very, very tired boys that night.



And here is our little man showing off his school pictures outfit. Both the boys' pics came out so well this year (another biased opinion). They dig wearing their ties. Carson get's to do his school's holiday pageant next week, and has been promoted from shepherd to king. Conner will finish his first semester of kindergarten next week and has really settled in well and is thriving.



Don't really know what predicated this pose, but we thought it was worth sharing. Maybe Conner is getting info from Carson by some kind of telepathy... we're having a great time leading up to Christmas '09. Looking forward to spending time with family and friends, and having our third annual Kras Connection New Years party.
