trains and trumpets
Hiya from the Marsh house. How can March already be almost over? Above, the boys are pictured playing with one of their favorite new toys--ok, it is primarily Daddy's favorite new toy--but the boys love it too! Hard to describe, but they are basically magnetic lego-type things. Daddy made a gardening hat for Carson and a crown for Conner.
St. Patricks Day was really big this year. The three CNMs went to the parade, and skipped naptime for the first time ever! Yes, there have been several naptimes that didn't include sleep, but 3-17 was the first day we went from before breakfast till after dinner without heads hitting pillows. Here is the float that the boys thought was by far the best.
And here they are getting a ride in it! The Sandbar folks are awefully nice to Conner and Carson, and this year they let them climb up into the float and pretend to drive the train. Click on the picture to see Conner's way-cool St. Pat's outfit. The bowtie lights up!
Kind of looks like he is playing Reveille to wake up Mummy and Daddy, doesn't it?
Biased opinion, of course, but both boys are pretty darned good at playing the trumpet! They haven't quite mastered different notes, but the whole neighborhood knows when they are playing...
