Picture pages
Hi everyone! Long time no blog. One problem with updating only monthly is that we have so many pictures we want to share! In the one above, the boys are sporting neckties their Mummy expertly created out of ribbon. Papa doesn't wear ties to work very often, but when he does, the boys want to wear theirs too.
Here we are at Mema and Grandpa's house on Mummy's birthday. The boys sang happy birthday to her and baked a pretend cake for her (blew out the pretend candles for her too). Carson and Conner did quite well with the awesome superhero kites they got from Aunt Meg and Cousin Geoff. The wind was low, so they had to run pretty hard. Gooood way to tire out little boys!
Leavenworth is the historic home of one of the world's first and largest carousel manufactures. The boys spent a day with Grandma and visted the CW Parker Museum. This carousel goes really fast, and they were a bit apprehensive at first, but ended up really loving it.
The aforementioned Cousin Geoff visited us all the way from New York with his mom, Aunt Meg. We had an absolute blast during their visit, and learned that the NY Marshes think Conner looks like a mini Geoff. So here they are, posing for a Mini Me shot. Conner is wearing Geoff's bling and a shirt with Spiderman, who is Geoff's favorite superhero. If you're counting, that's two of the first four pictures that highlight Spidey.
The boys are still happy eating just about anything. We are letting them do their own thing as much as possible. They are pretty proud of themselves as they wolf down big ole bites of grilled cheese. We still haven't found anything they won't eat, although in the last week or two, they've been less excited about tuna fish and watermelon. Go figure...
The boys were helping Mummy fold the laundry one day, and Carson decided he wanted to see how well Papa's socks fit. They make us laugh every morning when they want to fold their bedsheet and blanket. They're pretty good at it!
Well, the time out chair never collects dust. Here they are, having both gotten in trouble and sharing the chair. They do their best to be cute once they're in the chair, in hopes of minimizing the time spent sitting. Instead, their mean Daddy takes pictures of them and makes them stay just as long as they would have without the cute antics.
Auntie Jill brought the coolest toy ever. An automatic bubble blower! This thing can really crank out the bubbles at about ten per second. Both boys absolutely love it. We're still enjoying the warm weather and hoping the oppresively hot weather holds off for a while longer. Enjoy your summer, and come by to see us if you can!
