Pre Halloween post
Just barely made it for an October post! We're a few hours away from starting our trick or treating, but you'll have to wait for the November post to see costume pics. You can make it...be strong...
Here are the boys just goofin off while helping set up a Chamber event. Sorry the pic is so out of focus. Reminds us of another one taken a long time ago.
Conner and Daddy went on a webelos campout and had a great time. Nevermind the 39 degree morning temps, the fishing is what excited Conner the most. The cast you see in this picture has come off and his arm has healed.
Carson got in a couple more cross country races before the season ended. he also was the second St John's student in the whole school to finish his marathon in the school's running club.
The boys still love exploring the banks of the Kansas River, which is a short walk from our house. Some of you will recognize the Stan Herd art that the boys are trying not to deface.
Carson showing only a fraction of the excitement his father has for the beginning of KU basketball season.
For the second year, this kiddo chose to cultivate a garden of his favorite fruit: cantalope. Look closely and you'll see him holding the one fruit of his labor.
The Parrack bonfire! We had a blast hanging with our Kras Connection the morning after the bonfire. Another campout in somewhat chilly weather, but a big thank you to our friend Terry for letting us borrow his mummy bags!
The campout also included some running with the neighbor's white Newfundland named Buttercup. She is so friendly and loves the boys. Thought this was a nice Autumn-themed picture to end this month's tardy post. Happy Halloween!!
