G'bye school, hello summer
It is the end of an era, no doubt. The boys are finishing school for the year, one saying goodbye to kindergarten and the other saying goodbye to pre-school. Conner escorted Mummy to the Pinkney Elementary Mother's Day Tea. Both got dressed up for the event!
The class did a lovely presentation for all the mothers. They were told to dress up, and not only did Conner follow that request, but you see him dutifully tucking his shirt in for the picture. He has done a great job this year. We need to work hard with him on reading over the summer, but he flys through his math homework. Engineer? Architect? Archeologist??
Wonderful Ms. Kathy. The whole Marsh family will really miss the Giving Tree Preschool. It was the perfect place for us, giving us the flexibility to send the boys part-time. They got a fantastic education from some saintly teachers. Carson dressed up for his last day of school. The bow tie he is wearing was worn by his great grandfather!
It will be a summer of great change for us. School is out, camps will begin soon, some fun vacations, and even some job changes for the parents. We hope to report some exciting summer events and activities that will prepare us for the biggest change of all: two boys in all day school in three months!!
Are they ready? Are we ready? Is the school ready?!
