A very, very active May
A very happy Spring to everyone! Late May means a birthday for Mummy and a bumper crop of her favorite flowers.
The boys have inherited Grandpa Jack's car. Oh geez, they are going to start driving...
The CNMs visited Aunt Heather's lake house on Memorial Day. The water was a little bit chilly, since the rain has been really intense this spring.
But there was plenty of fishing for our master angler. This is not his most prize winning bass, but it is nice to get a picture of him smiling!
Daddy was really smiling when he got to go to the fancy Rock Chalk Ball with his pretty girl. The new job had us going to the big party and sitting with the School of Music table.
St. John posted the above picture celebrating Carson's FIFTH straight year of being the first to finish 100 miles in their marathon club. Nice hair, dude.
And then there was graduation. We got to celebrate some great students, great teachers and great memories. It was pretty sad, though, to think we are done with this wonderful school.
On May 28th, an F-4 tornado came through Lawrence. You can see the path on this map. Our house is just below the "w" of Lawrence. The yellow circles are reported damage. It was a devastating event, and we know people who lost their homes. We spent an hour in the basement, and didn't breathe easy until the weather radio reported that the storm had passed.
